The mountain mustangs would like to nominate Eli Carels for the MVP for the 2015/2016 season . After 20 games this season Eli has tallied 33 goals and 35 assist for a total of 68 points this season. Not known for his voice in the dressing room Eli does all his talking on the ice! Before every game Eli “high fives “ all of his teammates and encourages them all on having a good game. His work ethic, attitude and commitment in practices and games are the results of his great performance on the ice.

TOP GOALTENDER

Justin Jamault—Prairie Mountain Mustangs
The mountain Mustangs would like to nominate Justin Jamault for the top goaltender award. Justin’s wide stands in net make it very intimidating for opponents to score on him. Justin’s ability to handle the puck makes the job of defenseman so much easier. With a GAA of under 2 Justin is ranked among the top in the league.

LEW MUELLER TOP DEFENSEMAN AWARD

Jeremie Goderis—Prairie Mountain Mustangs
The mountain Mustangs would like to nominate Jeremie Goderies for the top defenseman of the year. Being in his last year of High school hockey Jeremie leads all defenseman in total points this season. His ability to rush and move the puck are a big asset.Jeremie’s biggest asset is the ability to recover in any situation in the defensive zone. Jeremie plays in all situations and is relied upon very heavily. Being the Captain of his team he has earned the respect of his teammates and of his coaches for being a team leader. While Jeremie is having a very successful season he has always put his teammates and coaches first.

LLOYD C. ORCHARD MOST SPORTMANLIKE

Jordan Blatz—Morden Thunder
Jordan has logged BIG minutes for the Thunder this season and is a catalyst for any success game in and game out. Jordan is presently 2nd in the league in Defenseman scoring with 26 pts thru 20 games. Jordan has consistently faced the oppositions top lines/players in a shut down capacity and despite this has kept his penalty minutes very limited. Were we able to name more than one player for Defenseman of the Year I’m sure the other Coaches in the league would agree…Jordan would truly be worthy.
